45th Annual Bluegrass Ramble Picnic

The Longest-Running Old-Time Country Music Event in NY

The longest-running Bluegrass and acoustic old-time country music event in New York and New England is back. The 45th annual “Bluegrass Ramble Picnic" is returning this weekend in Little York. Longtime radio host and creator of the event, Bill Knowlton is here to give us all the details.

This year's lineup includes more than 17 bands from around Central New York. Bluegrass has been a favorite genre in Central New York with many different musicians eager to play the old-time country tunes.

The annual picnic is a celebration of the Bluegrass Culture and is a free event where spectators are invited to bring lawn chairs and picnics. Jam sessions will also be happening throughout the park on Sunday and all are welcome to listen.

Food and beverages will be available throughout the day with other things such as arts and crafts, vendors, band tables and raffles in order to help support the picnic’s expenses.

The Bluegrass Ramble Picnic is this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Dwyer Memorial Park South of Exit 13 in Little York.
