"Beautiful" Comes To The Landmark Theatre

Musical Tells The Inspiring Story of Carole King

The Tony, GRAMMY, and Olivier Award-winning musical, “Beautiful,” is making it’s way to cities across the U.S., and last night it made it’s way to Syracuse. Here to tell us all about it is Julia Knitel who plays the lead role of Carole King and Rosharra Francis who plays Little Eva.

The musical tells the inspiring story of legendary song-writer Carole King’s rise to stardom. The production follows her career from a songwriting teenager in New York City to a musical legend writing hits for the biggest acts in Rock n’ Roll.

Both Julia, who was also part of the Broadway production, and Rosharra, this is her first national tour, say they feel honored to be a part of a production starring such an iconic musician and singing songs that are such an integral part of the American songbook. During the tour's stop in Boise, Idaho, Julia actually had the pleasure of meeting the inspirational Carole King who she says was very encouraging.

“Beautiful” has already received rave reviews and is playing at The Landmark Theater now through Sunday, April 23rd. For tickets call (315) 424-8210 or visit broadwayinsyracuse.com.
