What really lies beneath our great lakes? Melanie Zimmer, author of the new book "Curiosities of the Finger Lakes" joined us to tell us about what mysteries lie under our beautiful Finger Lakes. It seems that the true beauty is hidden by these great masses, as discoveries have been made that show the wondrous past of our lakes.

Some examples of such findings include Ancient Indian pictographs at Excelsior Glen. Melanie tells us they are somewhat hard to find, but they are painted in red ink on the walls of the glen. The reasoning for these pictographs are still a mystery, however, experts say it might have been a documentational usage, as to count how many canoes were in the lake.
