Free Comic Book Day

BOOM! POW! Heroes and villains will unite to celebrate free comic book day on Saturday, May 3rd.

Jeff Watkins, owner of Cloud City Comics and Toys in Dewitt, is gearing up for the event and came to Bridge Street to discuss the evolution of comics from comic book stores to the big screen. He also talked about how the event is a great chance for comic book fans and those who are new to comics to discover new titles.

Over 2,000 stores across the United States, Canada and various countries world wide will be giving away over 4.6 Million comics to their customers. Customers can choose from 60 different comic book choices that include Marvel's Gaurdians of the Galaxy, Spongebob, Archie, and even Transformers vs. G.I Joe.The stores involved will also be holding special events such as costume contests, and store wide sales.

Cloud City will open its doors at 9am on Saturday, May 3rd to kick off the event.
