Blowout 2017 highlights fashion-forward looks

Hair raising event helps support ACR Health

More than a dozen top salons in Central New York came together Sunday night to compete in Blowout 2017 in support of ACR Health. This year's theme, “FreeForm”  proved to show creative hairstyles weaved into some great storytelling by the respective stylists and their models.

Bridge Street Co-host TeNesha Murphy lent her talents on stage as a model for Artistry in Hanover Square. Sistina Giordano was also part of the night's events, returning as a judge for the second year in a row.

Top honors and the coveted Blowout Trophy went to Donna Latino of Fringe Salon.

This event is an opportunity for stylists to highlight the creativity of their team, shine a light on professional salons in Upstate New York and bring a unique style to the main stage at the Historic Landmark Theater in downtown Syracuse. The event is also a major fundraiser to help support ACR Health and the work they do to support LGBTQ youth right here in our own community.
