Financial Advisor Rick Reagan says future employers and future purchases can be affected if you do not have a good credit score. 

He says two of the most important factors are paying your bills on time and not having outstanding credit.  A $10,000 max on a credit card should never have more than $3000 on it.

A good credit score:

35% Payment History

30% Amounts Owed

15% Length of History

10% New Credit

10% Types of Credit

Go to Credit Karma or Annual Credit Report to get credit reports and protect your credit against fraud.
