Miss Delaware 2010 Deals With Hair Loss

In 2010, Kayla Martell won the Miss Delware competition, and the following year represented her state and Miss America, ending up as one of the top finalists.  But one thing many people may not known about this beauty queen, is that she suffers from hair loss due to a condition known as Alopecia.  It all started when Kayla was in the fifth grade and her hair began falling out.

Now, Kayla travels the country talking about her condition and how she deals with it.  Over thirty million women in the US are affected by hair loss, and most women facing it
do know where to go or who to trust for help.  That's where Kayla comes in.

She's in Central New York for a seminar on Tuesday, January 21, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Genesis II Hair Replacement Studio located at 405 East Taft Road in North Syracuse.

According to the Genesis II Hair Replacement Studio website, those attending the seminar will learn about the science of hair, hair loss and it's emotional toll on women, how to tell if hair loss is temporary or permanent, and most importantly the solutions available.

For more information or to register for the free event, (315) 458-1074 or visit the Genesis II Hair Replacement Studio website by clicking here.
