20 years of Dickens Christmas!
It's the 20th Anniversary of Dickens Christmas!

Dickens Christmas celebrates their 20th anniversary starting with the World's Smalled Christmas Parade.  The parade will be held on November 29th at the Skaneateles Village Hall on Fennel Street at 12 Noon.

The parade will feature three renditions of Charles Dickens, starring Jim Green, who has played Dickens for more than a decade, joined by the production's first Dickens, Ted Davenport and Kim Tenreiro.

Dickens Christmas, produced by Scarlett Rat Entertainment and presented by Mirbeau Inn & Spa and the Skaneateles-area business community, runs from 12 Noon to 4:00 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday through December 22nd with a limited show (12 Noon- 3 p.m.) on December 24th.

To highlight its 20th anniversary season, the event will include:
  • The Revels Live: A Christmas Carol sing-along at the Gazebo at 2:00 p.m everyday.
  • Scenes from "A Christmas Carol" featuring guests from the audience.  Performances are on the steps of the Masonic Temple at 12:30, 1:30, and 3:30 p.m.
  • One-man dramatization of "A Christmas Carol" presented by Kim Tenreiro.  It will be held on December 21st at the United Methodist Church from 3:30 - 6:00 p.m.
  • Horse-drawn wagon and carriage rides around the villages.  The rides will depart from the Sherwood Inn.  Wagon rides are free, and carriage rides are $20 per family.
  • Free refreshments served by the Girl Scouts.
  • Holiday Story readings from Mother Goose at the Skaneateles Library.

Dickens Christmas attracts more than 20,000 visitors each year.  Make sure to come out and experience a Merry Dickens Christmas!!
