Dinosaur Bar-B-Que "Red, Ride, and Blue"

Dinosaur, Harley-Davidson, 1911, and Empire Collaborate for Charity

Dinosaur Bar-B-Que has joined together with Harley-Davidson of Utica, 1911 Established and Empire Brewing Company to raise money for the Badge Of Honor Association & Fire Fighter Cancer Foundation of New York. They're hosting the "Red, Ride & Blue Poker Motorcycle Ride" where participants will make the trek of 124.6 miles all for a good cause with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the recipients. Kevin Special from Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Shane Gatto of Harley-Davidson of Utica, Donny Dixie from 1911 Established and Katie Reed from Empire Brewing Company discuss why each company wanted to be involved in the event and all the fun planned!

The ride takes place Saturday, July 8th beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Fayetteville Fire Department. Participants will begin in Fayetteville with their first playing card and continue to pick up a card at each of four checkpoints and hopefully collect a winning poker hand. From there, they'll ride to their first checkpoint at Dinosaur Bar B que where they can sample Jumbo BBQ chicken wings. The next checkpoint will be at Harley-Davidson of Utica before heading to the third stop at the Empire Farm Brewery located in Cazenovia, where they will receive a free pint of beer. Finally, their last checkpoint will be at Beak & Skiff Apple Orchard, located in LaFayette, where they will receive a free pint of hard cider and have a special after party. There will be live music, hard cider, and food provided by Dinosaur Bar-B-Que.

 

If you would like to ride in the event, drivers registration fee is $25.00 and passengers are $15.00. These payments will include a t-shirt for each person and give admission to each event along the trail. You are able to register the morning of the event but are can preregister at EventBrite.

If you would like to participate but not ride in the event, but not do the ride, you can pay a $10.00 public entry fee to attend the after party only. All participants must be 21 years of age or older to participate in this event.
