The Tony Award winning show for best musical “Fiddler on the Roof” comes to life on stage at Faith Heritage School this weekend. With a variety of student talent, the show is perfect for all ages with an important message that all students and community members can relate to, Dr. Neal Capone said.
Capone heads the private Christian school that is celebrating it's 45th year in the Central New York Community. It's mission is rooted in preparing students in heart, soul, strength and mind and inspiring each student to celebrate their gifts and talents.
Student actors Xander Deacons and Peyton Anderson are two of the students in this year's school production. Together they take on two lead roles in the production and both say they enjoy being part of the school musical as a way to express themselves through art. Both are seniors and have performed in various school productions throughout their education.
Faith Heritage also showcases students academically, athletically as well as musically and Capone attributes the program's success to the support for students in all abilities and programs.
Registration for the new school year is now open for students in grades K thgouth 12 from all districts in Onondaga County. In the meantime, take in the school's latest musical production of "Fiddler on The Roof" happening Friday, March 9th and Saturday March 10th at the school located at 3740 Midland Avenue in Syracuse.
