Holiday Appetizers from Wegmans

Ideas to make ahead of your next gathering

Endive With Gorgonzola

Ingredients:

  • 2 heads of white belgian endive, bottom trimmed, leaves separated

  • 4 oz Extra Creamy Dolce Gorgonzola (Cheese Shop), softened

  • Freshly ground pepper, for garnish

  • Fresh Chives, chopped, for garnish

  • Italian Classics Glaze with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, for garnish

Directions:

Arrange endive leaves on serving platter. Dollop about 1 tsp cheese into each leaf; garnish with pepper, chives, and glaze.

 

Tuna Tataki Skewers

Ingredients:

  • ¾ of an avocado, peeled, pitted, ¼-inch dice

  • Juice of ½ lime (about 1 Tbsp)

  • 1 pkg (6 oz) Wegmans Tuna Tataki Sashimi Style, 1-inch dice

Directions:

Toss avocado, lime juice, and salt in bowl. Place 1 avocado piece and 1 tuna piece on 6-inch bamboo skewer; serve.

 

BLT Crostini

 

Ingredients:

½ of a 4 oz container Wegmans  Multigrain Olive Oil Crostini

3 tbsp Bourbon Bacon Jam

2 Food you can Feel Good About Yellow Campari Cocktail Tomatoes, thinly sliced

2 Food you can Feel Good About Campari Cocktail Tomatoes, thinly sliced

4 leaves Food you can Feel Good About Basil, thinly sliced

Directions:

Spread each crostini with 1/2 tsp Bourbon Bacon Jam. Top each with tomato slice; sprinkle with basil.
