Jurassic Quest Returns to Syracuse

Dinosaurs Invade the New York State Fairgrounds

Jurassic Quest returns to Central New York for the second year with a bigger and better exhibition that's twice the size of last year's.

The New York State Fairgrounds will be hosting the largest, life-size moving, dinosaur exhibit in North America this weekend. Dinosaur lovers can walk through the Cretaceous period, the Jurassic Period and the Triassic period and experience moving and breathing dinos.

With over 80 life-sized dinosaurs ranging from the Stegosaurus to the T-Rex, future paleontologists can dig for fossils, hop on the backs of their favorite 24-foot dinosaurs, and jump around in the Dino Bounce.

This year's Jurassic Quest has doubled in size and added many different attractions for dinosaur fans both big and small. Some of the popular attractions to look for this weekend include:

  • Dino Babies: Every 30 minutes guest can meet and interact with Dino babies.
  • Dino Rides: Children can pick their favorite dinosaur and take it for a ride.
  • Exhibit Tour: Take a tour of the exhibit and learn more about different dinosaurs from experts.

The exhibit will be open from February 2nd-4th. The hours today (Friday) are from 3:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m and then Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m.
