Perfecting Ribs Dinosaur Style

A Look at Dinosaur BBQ's Rib Method

Today, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que joined our show to show us how to properly cook ribs at home! Dinosaur’s own Kevin Special mans the grill and takes us through the process.

He uses a St. Louis cut rib that he seasons with salt, pepper, and the signature Dinosaur Bar-B-Que Rib Rub. You put in a smoker for about 4 hours cooking at 185-190 degrees. You do need to keep an eye on it because there’s a difference of just 5 to 10 minutes between an overdone rack and a perfect rack.

After smoking, the ribs go on the grill. The rack rests for a little while after the smoker, then goes on the grill to char for about a minute on each side. Once it comes off the grill, it’s time for sauce and enjoy!

For those not willing to give it a go at home, you can always visit your local Dinosaur Bar-B-Que. There are 7 locations throughout the North East with the most local in Downtown Syracuse!
