No Bake Patriotic Hot Fudge Cheesecake Trifles Recipe



4 ounces of cream cheese

3 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 cup of heavy whipping cream or cool whip

Red, white and blue M&M's

Prepared or homemade pound cake cut into 3/4 inch squares

hot fudge heated very briefly for easy stirring



In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer to combine the cream cheese and sugar.  Add the heavy whipping cream and mix until thick and creamy, about one minute.

 Assemble the trifles:  you can make 4 good sized individual trifles or 8 smaller trifles I recommend short plastic cups if you're making them for a party. Layer the trifles beginning with cake, followed by m&m's, cheesecake whipped cream, hot fudge, and then repeat until you reach the top of the cup. End with whip cream and M&M's for decoration.

Serve immediately or refrigerate. This is easily a dessert that can be made the day or night before.
