SU Drama Alum Returns to Syracuse

Broadway Veteran Teaches Workshops at Alma Mater

Broadway actor, Stephen Carrasco is back in town this week to teach students at the Syracuse University Drama Department.  Carrasco sat down with Sistina and TeNesha to talk about what he's been up to and his journey to The Great White Way.

Carrasco’s success started when he was cast in "White Christmas The Musical" two years after moving to New York City to pursue a career in theater.

Carrasco has been teaching students dance in a series of workshops at Syracuse University and has been impressed by how hungry the students are to learn from him.

Carrasco’s credits include roles in Kinky Boots and the Broadway revival of "Fiddler on the Roof." He'll head back to New York later this week to begin rehearsals for Roald Dahl’s "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."

"Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" opens March 28, 2017.To learn more about his latest production visit, http://www.charlieonbroadway.com/tickets/ For more information about Stephen visit http://www.stephencarrasco.com/ and
