For the tenth year in a row, local high school lacrosse players are raising funds and awareness for breast cancer playing "Under the Lights."
This year, The Tully Varsity Girls will take on East-Syracuse Minoa girls for the cause with a goal of $10,000 in mind to help fight breast cancer. All proceeds will be donated to the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund. Over the last ten years, various high school girls have raised more than $100,000 for breast cancer research.
Doug's Fish Fry will be available and the Tully Fire Department will also host their own BBQ for the event. Fans and members of the Central New York Community are invited to cheer on both teams for this unique fundraising event.
The Benefit Game begins at 7:30pm at the Junior-Senior High School at 20 State Street in Tully. To learn more about how the Carol M. Balwin Breast Cancer Resarch Fund helps fight cancer here in Central New York visit findacure.org
