Wegmans Portabella Mushroom Burgers

A Veggie Alternative for an American Classic

Chef Nick Valentine of Wegmans joins us for another delicious Wegmans Wednesday and offers up a tasty & nutritious alternative to your standard burger, a portabella mushroom burger.

Ingredients:
1 pkg (18 oz) Food You Feel Good About Portabella Mushroom Caps, washed
16 leaves Food You Feel Good About Fresh Basil
4 Food You Feel Good About Campari Cocktail Tomatoes, each cut into 4 slices
1 1/3 cups Wegmans Shredded Part Skim Mozzarella (Dairy Dept)
Multigrain Hamburger Rolls


Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place mushrooms on baking sheet, gill-side up. Layer each with 4 basil leaves, 4 tomato slices, and 1/3 cup mozzarella.
2. Bake, 20-25 min, until cheese is golden brown. 
3. Place on multigrain hamburger roll and enjoy!
