Wegmans Chef Mike Hoover is whipping up a spicy Italian dish, Seafood Fra Diavolo.
1/2 of a 16 oz pkg Food You Feel Good About Uncooked Peeled & Deveined Shrimp
1/2 lb fresh calamari tubes, halved lengthwise
4 cups San Marzano Tomato Sauce
1 bag (2 lbs) Wegmans Canadian Organic Mussels, rinsed
1 pkg (16 oz) Italian Classics Linguine
Toss shrimp, calamari, and pepper spread in bowl. Marinate, covered, at least 30 min in refrigerator.
Heat sauce in braising pan on MED; bring to simmer. Add shrimp; cook 30 sec. Add mussels; stir to combine. Cover; cook, about 6 min, until mussels begin to open.
Stir in calamari. Cover; cook 2 min. Remove from heat (discard any unopened mussels). Add cooked linguine; tossing to coat.
