September 26 is National Registration Day and citizens are encouraged to register to exercise their right to vote. Prospective voters can head to their local DMV or online to register to vote through October 13th.
Onondaga Community College will host three different voting information sessions on campus from 11:00AM- 1:30PM. Booths will be set up with information where students can register to vote, ask questions and learn more about the voting process. Interested citizens are also welcome to attend the events on campus.
Another event is being held downtown from 3-5pm for those with limited or no access to voter registration areas. Exercising your right to vote is an important part of the electoral process and more and more, citizens are encouraged to take the time to vote.
