What's New for Downtown Syracuse Dining Weeks 2018

14th Annual Event Promises More Food and Deals Than Ever

Downtown Syracuse Dining Weeks kicks off one week from today, beginning on February 15th through the 28th. A record number of forty restaurants will be participating in this fourteenth year.

New this year are 21 restaurants that will be offering three-course lunches for $10 or less. On top of that, 35 restaurants will be offering three-course dinners for $25 or less. Merike Treier of the Downtown Committee recommended making a reservation if planning to make use of the dining week specials for dinner, but it's not necessary for lunch.

Another benefit this year is the partnership with four downtown hotels. Treier notes that the Downtown Committee really wants people to be able to experience Downtown Syracuse fully and that the four hotels are offering a 'sleep over package'. The package includes a room at $185 with brunch included the next morning when you show your dinner receipt from a participating restaurant. They also have the option to redeem a $25 discount on their room. The four locations participating are the Marriott Syracuse Downtown, The Jefferson Clinton Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott at Armory Square, and The Residence Inn by Marriott in Armory Square.

Another partnership this year is with the Food Bank of Central New York. Throughout the dining weeks, diners can fill out pledge cards at their tables. They can also bring non-perishable foods to downtown parking facilities, and then able to park for just $5 after 5 p.m. Those parking places include: the Atrium Garage, Clinton Street Garage, the surface lot at Fayette and Walton streets, and the lot at Fayette and Clinton streets. Finally, those participating in the 'sleep over package' can choose to donate that $25 discount from their room to the Food Bank of CNY instead.

All the participating restaurants and many menus can be found online at downtownsyracuse.com/diningweeks
