The Wild Animal Park

The Wild Animal Park is introducing new Alaskan Tundra Wolf pups.
The Wild Animal Park is introducing new Alaskan Tundra Wolf pups into the park. The pups are 9 weeks old and currently being bottle-fed, but they will eventually have a normal wolf diet which will include a variety of meats.

Alaskan Tundra Wolves are accustomed to eating moose, cow, elk, and more. When these pups reach their full size, they will grow to be approximately 130 lbs. Owner, Jeff Taylor, warns that though these pups were bred in captivity they are and will always be wild animals.  "It's important to respect them for what they are," he says, and cautions that you will never know when their natural instincts will kick in.

Alaskan Tundra Wolves were recently taken off the endangered species list.  They are making a comeback in the west and are starting to repopulate their species. You can check out these new pups along with tigers, bears, kangaroos, zebras, and more at the Wild Animal Park.
