High pollen counts are sending people to the doctor right now, but that’s not the only thing that’s going around in Central New York.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – High pollen counts are sending people to the doctor right now, but that’s not the only thing that’s going around in Central New York.

In Fayetteville, Living Proof Longevity Center says people with allergies are struggling now with itchy eyes, runny noses, and post nasal drip. They’re also seeing an upper respiratory infection with congestion, cough, and fever, along with some sore throats.

In Cicero, Dr. Terasaka says it’s mostly kids with allergies coming in right now. He’s seeing sinus infections and pink eye.

In Syracuse, pink eye is also What’s Going Around. Brighton Hill Pediatrics also checks in with throat and allergies.

In Camillus, Dr. Rovall is seeing lots of summertime illnesses – coxsackie is going around and she’s seeing allergies. In addition, they’re seeing a virus with a rash and a fever.

In Liverpool, Dr. Dracker is seeing that same virus and there’s an upper respiratory infection going around and the stomach bug.

In Pulaski, Dr. Carguello is still seeing some late season flu and allergy symptoms are flaring up.

In Auburn, physicians are seeing allergies, an upper respiratory infection, sinusitis, and sore throats.
