New record set for cups of milk at the Fair

Along with setting a record for the year with the one-dollar baked potatoes, the New York State Fair set a record for milk drinkers.
Geddes (WSYR-TV) – Along with setting a record for the year with the one-dollar baked potatoes, the New York State Fair set a record for milk drinkers.

The Fair sold more cups of 25-cent white and chocolate milk than ever before at the Dairy Building’s Rainbow Bar.

409,988 cups were sold over the Fair’s 12-day run – that’s nearly 6,800 more than last year.

Fairgoers drank more than 34,000 cups of milk per day – 2,800 an hour, or 47 cups per minute.
