Van Buren (WSYR-TV) – Sheriff’s deputies are trying to identify a woman who robbed a convenience store in the town of Van Buren on Thursday night.

Onondaga County Sheriff Kevin Walsh says the Kwik Fill at 7176 State Fair Blvd. was robbed around 8:00 p.m.

The suspect is a white female, in her mid to late twenties, 5’3”, 170 pounds, with copper colored hair. At the time, she was wearing blue jeans and a black knit sweater with a hood and sunglasses.

The suspect walked in to the store and demanded money from the clerk while keeping her right hand in her sweater, Sheriff Walsh reported.

The clerk gave the woman an undetermined amount of money and the suspect left the store.

Anyone who may be able to identify the woman is asked to call sheriff’s detectives at 435-3082 or notify the 911 center.
