Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A Syracuse teenager who was given a second chance after stealing a car is under arrest again.

Police caught up with Stefan Hill on Thursday morning after receiving a tip from the NewsChannel 9 viewer who saw his picture when he was featured as a "Fugitive of the Week" during an On The Lookout segment.

He was arrested near South Salina Street.

After being placed on probation, Hill was “doing okay,” according to police, until he slipped off the radar in November 2012.

Police said Hill’s family supported their efforts to find him.

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Another teenager has landed on the wanted list for allegedly violating his county probation. The 18-year-old was given a chance to straighten up after he was caught stealing a car.

Police say it's important they now catch him. He’s NewsChannel 9’s Fugitive of the Week and we're putting you on the lookout for him.

Stefan Hill is 5-feet 9-inches tall, 150 pounds, with a medium build.

After his car theft conviction, Hill was placed on probation and was doing okay until last November.

That's when police say he stopped reporting to his probation officer.  Hill's family supports the quest to find him, according to authorities.

Fugitive Task Force Supervisor Joe Ciciarelli told NewsChannel 9, “They would like him to get back into probation to get his life turned around again. We need to get him into custody to do that.”

Ciciarelli says police know he is on the South Side of Syracuse in the area of South Avenue or South Salina Street where he's been seen out at night.

If you know where he is, you can call the Fugitive Task Force tip line at 473-7625.
