Felon arrested 26 times named Fugitive of the Week

Syracuse Police are asking you to be On The Lookout for a felon who has been arrested 26 times.

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police are asking you to be On The Lookout for a felon who has been arrested 26 times.

30-year-old Louie Torres is our Fugitive of the Week and has the following warrants out for his arrest:
  • Arrest warrant for Robbery 1st degree - Class B Felony
  • Criminal Poss. Weapon 4th - class A Misdemeanor
  • Kidnapping 2nd - class B Felony
  • Grand Larceny 4th - class E Felony
  • Criminal Possession of stolen property 4th - class E felony
  • Menacing 2nd - class A misdemeanor
Police say that on July 1, Torres and two others threatened a man with a knife in the Rite Aid parking lot on Butternut Street, and then forced the victim into a car so he would withdraw money from an ATM.

Torres has been arrested 26 times including 7 felonies, 15 misdemeanors, and 30 violations/traffic infractions.

He is last known to have lived in the Valley, but has also lived in the Onondaga Nation Territory.

Torres is listed as an American Indian with brown eyes and brown hair who stands at 5 feet-9 inches and weighing 180 pounds.
