Fugitive of the Week: Man accused of violating probation for sexual misconduct turns himself into US Marshals

Deputy U.S. Marshals are reporting that the Fugitive of the Week has turned himself in Wednesday afternoon.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Deputy U.S. Marshals are reporting that the Fugitive of the Week has turned himself in Wednesday afternoon.

25-year-old Justin Lent was wanted after being accused of violating his probation for sexual misconduct.

Deputy Marshals say Lent told them he had nowhere to go after being featured on television.

NewsChannel 9 featured Lent as its Fugitive of the Week on Monday.

Lent pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct in February and was placed on probation for six years.

Law enforcement officials say that since then, Lent had been missing appointments and getting into more trouble.

“He started missing appointments as early as June, those appointments lead to other things,” said U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Supervisor Joe Ciciarelli.

Other things included a recent arrest in North Syracuse for criminal possession of stolen property.

Deputy Marshals say they received many tips from NewsChannel 9 viewers in regards to Lent.
