Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police say our ‘Fugitive of the Week’ has been arrested 30 times, and this time, he’s wanted for failing to show up for court after he allegedly stole someone’s wallet and racked up $1,500 worth of charges.

Police are eager to find 53-year-old Larry Moore, and they're asking neighbors on Syracuse's South Side, especially around Cortland Avenue to be ‘On The Lookout’ for him.

“Someone I think you don't want living next to you or around should you should you happen to leave your purse or wallet where he might take it,” said Sergeant John Savage with the Syracuse Police Warrant Squad.

Police say Moore was caught on tape using a credit card from a stolen wallet, racking up charges totally $1,500.

“It really is a crime that does affect all of us,” Sgt. Savage said. “Ultimately, all of those bogus charges get passed onto the consumer, so you may sit at home and say it wasn't my crime, it doesn't affect me.”

Moore, who is wanted on a bench warrant for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 2nd Degree, a class E felony, is described by officials as:
  • African-American male
  • 6 foot-1 inches tall
  • 240 pounds
  • Black hair and brown eyes
