Chase Bank robbed in Salina; Deputies looking for suspect

The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help identifying a man they say robbed a bank on Thursday.

Salina (WSYR-TV) - The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help identifying a man they say robbed a bank on Thursday.

Deputies say the robbery occurred at the Chase Bank located at 424 7th N. St. and Buckley Rd. in the town of Salina at about 5:35 p.m.

According to deputies, a white male in his 20s wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black vest, and a baseball cap entered the bank through the front doors and handed a teller a note demanding money.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect left the bank through the front door and got into a dark colored sedan, according to the Sheriff's Office

Deputies say the suspect vehicle was last seen traveling north on Buckley Road.

There were no injuries reported during this incident.
