Cops looking for suspects in Western Lights Price Chopper robbery

Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputies are looking for two men wanted in a strong-arm robbery that occurred at the Western Lights Price Chopper store in July.
Geddes (WSYR-TV) – Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputies are looking for two men wanted in a strong-arm robbery that occurred at the Western Lights Price Chopper store in July.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, one of the male suspects repeatedly punched a cashier who tried to stop them as they left the store in the town of Geddes, reportedly with stolen merchandise.

The incident occurred on July 12 around 1:30 a.m.

The Sheriff’s Office said one of the suspects is a white male with a thin build who wore a black t-shirt with white lettering running vertically on the front left side of the shirt and black pants during the incident.

The man appeared to have no substantial facial hair and was wearing a black and orange ball cap. The Sheriff’s Office said it could not identify the logo on the first suspect’s hat.

The second suspect was also a white male who wore a white t-shirt with black shorts during the alleged robbery. He was wearing black and white colored sneakers and a black ball cap.

Police say that both men appear to be in their mid 20s.

The men were observed leaving the scene in a tan and gold late model Buick or Pontiac.

The cashier was treated for a nose injury at Community Hospital and released.
