East Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – East Syracuse Police are trying to identify two people who they believe extensively damaged an ATM at a village laundromat that they were trying to steal from.

The pair was captured in surveillance images during the time of the incident at the Colonial Laundromat at 307 West Manlius St.

Police say the pair tried to steal money, but failed to get any during a 10 minute period from 11:55 pm on April 30 through 12:05 am on May 1.

One man caught on surveillance cameras is white with blond hair. He was wearing a black jacket, a black baseball hat, and white sneakers during the incident.

The other person was wearing all black, but surveillance images do not indicate whether the person is a man or woman or what race they might be.
