Geddes Police hope certificate award leads to suspect’s identification

Police in Geddes are asking residents to be On The Lookout for a suspected bank robber and hope a new clue leads to their arrest.

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Police in Geddes are asking residents to be On The Lookout for a suspected bank robber and hope a new clue leads to their arrest.

The incident took place at the Bank of America on Onondaga Boulevard back on May 21.

According to police, the note handed to the teller was written on the back of an award certificate given to a child or student.

The date on the award is May 20, one day before the robbery took place.
