Manlius Police identify and charge suspect in wallet theft

Manlius (WSYR-TV) – Manlius Police have identified and charged the woman who they believe stole a wallet.

The wallet was taken from an unlocked vehicle on Stonykill Street in Manlius.

Police say credit cards from the wallet were used in multiple stores in Onondaga County shortly after the reported theft.

42-year-old Tina Zavatsky of Syracuse is charged with:
  • Three counts of criminal possession of stolen property, a class E felony
  • Identity theft in the second degree, a class E felony
  • Two counts of unlawful possession of personal identification in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor
Zavatsky was arraigned and taken to the Onondaga County Justice Center. Her next court date is scheduled for later this month.
