Police: 2nd suspect in F-M High School thefts arrested

Manlius Police say they have arrested the second suspect wanted in connection to the Fayetteville-Manlius High School burglary.

Manlius (WSYR-TV) - Manlius Police say they have arrested the second suspect wanted in connection to the Fayetteville-Manlius High School burglary.

21-year-old Camille Danciu was located in the 100 block of East Washington Street in Syracuse Tuesday afternoon.

Camille was taken into custody and arraigned in the Village of Manlius Court.

She was remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center on $50,000 cash / $500,000 bond.

Police say Camille, and her twin sister Celine, were caught on surveillance video at the time of a number of thefts in Fayetteville-Manlius High School on Monday, Dec. 2.

Camille was charged with:
  • Burglary in the 3rd Degree, a Class D felony
  • Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree, a Class D felony
She is scheduled to return to the Village of Manlius court on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 7:00 p.m.

Manlius (WSYR-TV) - Manlius Police say one of the suspects in multiple thefts at Fayetteville-Manlius High School is in custody, but they are still looking for her twin sister who is still at large.

Police say 21-year-old Celine Danciu was taken into custody Thursday morning at a home on the 400 block of Otisco Street. Celine was found hiding in a clear plastic garbage bag at the time of her arrest, according to police.

Her twin sister, 21-year-old Camile Danciu, is still on the run, police said.

Police say the two suspects were caught on surveillance video at the time of a number of thefts in Fayetteville-Manlius High School on Monday, Dec. 2.

Among the items that were reportedly stolen from a locker room in the school were cell phones, credit cards, and cash.

According to police, the twins stole more than $7,000 worth of items.

Celine has been charged with:
  • Burglary in the 3rd Degree, a Class D felony
  • Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree, a Class D felony
She is to appear in the Village of Manlius court on Wednesday, Dec. 11.

Some of the items stolen have been returned to their owners, police said.

The twins are former F-M High School students, according to police.

Police obtained surveillance images from a store in the city of Syracuse where the suspects were looking to sell items.
