Police: Man in critical condition after being shot multiple times in Syracuse

According to police, a 29-year-old man was approached by a black male wearing a mask.
SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police are investigating a shooting that happened just after 4:00 p.m. in the 300 block of Hawley Avenue on Saturday.

According to police, a 29-year-old man was approached by a black male wearing a mask.  Police said the suspect then fired a gun, hitting the victim multiple times

Police believe the victim was targeted but a motive is still unknown.

The victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital in a private vehicle where he is in critical but stable condition.
