Police: Two SU Law students robbed in cemetery

Police say the suspects stole the students' wallets, car keys, IDs and shoes before running away.
SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police are investigating an armed robbery in Oakwood Cemetery near College Place Saturday night.

Police say it happened at 8:30 p.m. Two male Syracuse University Law School students were cutting through the cemetery when they were approached by four black males. Police say the suspects displayed a silver, long-barreled handgun and told the students to lay on the ground.

The suspects then hit and kicked the students.

Police say the suspects stole the students' wallets, car keys, IDs and shoes before running away.

Once the suspects were gone, the students got up and contacted Syracuse University Public Safety officers.

The students were not injured.

The suspects are described as black males, between the ages of 16 and 22 years of age and 5'9" tall. Police say one was wearing a white, hooded sweatshirt and the others had on dark colored hooded sweatshirts.
