Police looking for suspect in attempted bank robbery in Syracuse

Police in Syracuse are looking for a suspect in an attempted robbery at the Chase Bank branch at James and Lodi streets.

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Police in Syracuse are looking for a suspect in an attempted robbery at the Chase Bank branch at James and Lodi streets.

Police say the attempted robbery at 801 James St. happened around 10:25 a.m.

The suspect is described by police as a black male who entered the bank and handed a teller a threatening note demanding money.

Police say the teller refused to turn over any money and the suspect ran out of the bank toward Catherine St.
