Rome Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who they believe ripped off a local pharmacy using what they described as a “quick-change” scam.

Rome (WSYR-TV) – Rome Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who they believe ripped off a local pharmacy using what they described as a “quick-change” scam.

According to police, the man entered a Walgreens location on South James Street and tried to purchase gum with a $50 bill.

He then allegedly pulled out a $100 bill as payment and was able to confuse the clerk, who ended up giving him an additional $50 in change.
