Surveillance images of suspect in Kinney robbery released

The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office has released a surveillance image of the man they believe robbed a pharmacy in the town of Salina on Thursday morning.

Salina (WSYR-TV) - The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office has released a surveillance image of the man they believe robbed a pharmacy in the town of Salina on Thursday morning.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, a white male in his mid 20s handed a note to a clerk at the Kinney Drugs location at 437 Electronics Parkway indicating that he had gun and that he wanted pain medication.

The pharmacist handed the man the drugs and he left the store.

Sheriff's Investigators responded to the store around 9:30 a.m.

Sheriff’s Investigators say the man was wearing carpenter jeans and two hooded sweatshirts – one gray and one either a darker gray or black – during the incident. They say the suspect was also wearing a light-colored hat.

He was described as being between 5-foot-10 and 6 feet tall with a slender or medium build.

No weapons were displayed during the incident. No one was injured.
