Syracuse Police investigating Downtown bank robbery

Police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a Solvay Bank location in Downtown Syracuse on Thursday.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV)- Police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a Solvay Bank location in Downtown Syracuse on Thursday.

Police responded to the Warren Street bank location shortly after the noon robbery.

The suspect reportedly handed a teller a threatening note, but did not display a weapon.

The suspect is a black male who appears to be about 35 years old, 5-foot-7, and weighs 180 pounds.

During the incident, he was wearing a navy pea coat and a multi-colored scarf.

He was reported to have gone south on Warren Street and then west on West Fayette Street.

No one was injured during the incident.
