Skaneateles (WSYR-TV) – Skaneateles Police say two Utica brothers are in custody after officers recognized them on NewsChannel 9 as suspects in the theft of liquor and baby formula at village shops.

According to police, 53-year-old Timothy Hajdasz was arrested on Feb. 21, while 52-year-old Thomas Hajdasz was arrested on March 22.

Both men are also wanted in connection to crimes in the town of Geddes.

Officers in Oneida County say the men are well known to law enforcement.

Police say the pair stole $485 worth baby formula from a CVS drugstore and $500 in liquor from the Village Bottle Shop.

The men were caught on surveillance cameras swiping formula, according to police.

Police do not believe the men were stealing the items for their own use, but were re-selling them.
