Class action lawsuit involving ebook publishers: The Real Deal

If you have purchased an ebook from one of multiple prominent publishers, you could be entitled to money as part of a class-action lawsuit.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – If you have purchased an ebook from one of multiple prominent publishers, you could be entitled to money as part of a class-action lawsuit.

If you bought an ebook from MacMillan, Penguin, Hachette, Harper-Collins, or Simon and Schuster, you may be entitled to part of a multi-million-dollar class action lawsuit over alleged price fixing.

To qualify, the book should have been purchased between April 1, 2010 and May 21, 2012.

If the court approves your claim, you will receive either a credit from the retailer or a check.

Some claimants are pre-qualified. Others will have to file a claim form before Oct. 1.
