Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Central New Yorkers are also feeling the heat at the pump, as gas prices continue to increase.
The average gas price in Syracuse has jumped by 19 cents in just one week.
Analysts say crude oil prices are rising because of the political turmoil in places like Egypt and because Americans are driving more this summer.
Most indications show that the costs will continue to climb.
