Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Question: A NewsChannel 9 viewer paid for an extended warranty with they purchased windows, but now the retailer has closed. They want to know where Leo A Kline customers can go if they need assistance with their product.

Answer: Peggy Penders with the Better Business Bureau of Upstate New York says that manufacturer information is generally included at the time of purchase so you should begin there.

Otherwise, you can research the brand online and see if you can identify the manufacturer that way.

There may also be another business in your area that sells the same type of window.

Sometimes companies will step in to assist consumers to help build their own business.
