Frazer k-8 School collecting for gently used/new clothing

SYRACUSE (WSYR-TV) - If you’re doing spring cleaning and plan on tossing clothing your kids no longer need, one school is asking you to donate it.

The Frazer K-8 school in the Syracuse City School District is collecting any gently used or new clothing through the summer.

The donations will be sorted and then made available to any students that need it for the upcoming school year.

“Sometimes its really hard for our students to have two seasons of clothing,” said Jenafer Medina, the teacher who started the drive. “Plus kids grow so quick and I know that as a mom.”

“No sooner do you buy a winter coat or boots they outgrow them,” added Medina.

Important items include fall/winter coats, winter boots, and shoes.

Donations can be brought to the Frazer school throughout the summer.
