16 people arrested and two officers injured after Auburn incident

Auburn Police have arrested 16 people after breaking up a crowd of 200 near State Street and Perrine Street.
Auburn (WSYR-TV) -- Auburn Police have arrested 16 people after breaking up a crowd of 200 near State Street and Perrine Street.

Police say around 12:15 Sunday morning almost 200 people crowded the streets in that area after leaving nearby bars.  When officers told them to leave, some of them refused which led to 16 arrests.

Authorities say 26-year-old Adrian Infante tried to run from police during the incident.  After a brief struggle with officers, he was arrested for disorderly conduct.
The officers who arrested Infante suffered minor injuries after the struggle.  They were taken to Auburn Community Hospital where they were treated and released.

16 Year Old Female

David Preston Williams / 44 Years of Age

Alexandria Marie Barnard / 21 Years of Age
