Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The armored bus President Obama is riding in on his tour that takes him to Syracuse has the unofficial code name “Ground Force One.”

It’s a large black bus that features the presidential seal just to the left of the main door.

The two buses currently used to transport the president were first used in 2011 and cost $1.1 million each, according to ABC News.

Sources told ABC News the bus has a seating area with chairs and a couch near the front, a group of chairs near the back, and some flat-screen TVs.

A Nashville, Tenn. company, Hemphill Brothers Co., added special security features to the bus, but those details are kept secret.
