Auburn Police trying to identify suspect caught on camera using stolen credit card

Auburn (WSYR-TV) – Auburn Police are looking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who was caught on surveillance cameras using a stolen credit card at multiple locations.

The suspect was recorded in four locations where the card was used on Genesee Street including Walgreens, Rite Aid, Family Dollar, and Dollar General.

He was wearing baseball cap during the transactions. Police believe he was trying to conceal his identity.

Witnesses told police the suspect is a white male in his late 20s or early 30s and that he is 6-foot-2 or taller and 240 pounds. They also said he had a goatee and some other facial hair.

They told police he is a frequent customer in three of the stores, but they could not recall his name.
