Cash and wallets are grabbed as two men face an armed robber

Two men told Syracuse police they were facing a handgun when an armed robber took their wallets on Friday.

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Two men told Syracuse police they were facing a handgun when an armed robber took their wallets on Friday.

Investigators said the two victims were approached by an unknown man on the 300 block of West Kennedy Street around 11:15 p.m.

The robber is described as a black man, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a black knit hat with white stripes on it.

He was last seen heading toward Midland Avenue.

Police were called to an armed robbery earlier Friday, but they aren't sure if the cases are connected.

The victims were not hurt during the robbery on West Kennedy Street.
