Boston (WSYR-TV) – A Cicero man was arrested after an alleged tirade at Logan Airport after being told he wouldn’t be allowed into the USO.

According to Massachusetts State Police, an airport employee told them Jeremy Sawyer, an Air Force airman, had asked about entering the USO.

When the employee told Sawyer it wasn’t open, Sawyer allegedly flew into a rage, launching a verbal tirade against the employee.

According to police, Sawyer’s rant included references to the military furlough program to the Boston Marathon bombing.

Ultimately, Sawyer allegedly pointed at his backpack and said, “What am I supposed to do with this pressure cooker?”

Pressure cooker style bombs were used in the killing or injuring of multiple people during the Boston Marathon bombings.

Police said that because of the nature of the threat, they were compelled to find Sawyer.

They charged him with making a threat concerning the location of a dangerous device.

He was released on his own recognizance.
